Essentials of Medicine - Medicine Demystified: Insights for Non-Clinical Professionals

The UTA Essentials of Medicine course is a comprehensive, intensive overview of all of medicine presented over 45 hours and designed for healthcare professionals who are not otherwise clinically trained who wish to quickly gain a powerful overview of medicine in general. Previous participants have included leaders from all fields intersecting with medicine, including biopharma, med tech, health policy, health insurance, biomedical science, healthcare IT, healthcare finance (private equity, venture capital, investment banking), health law, among other fields. The course covers the basic, preclinical and clinical sciences, emphasizing the main principles and logic of medicine, how doctors think, and how the healthcare system works.
